Our Tanzanian Sea Moss is hand-harvested from the pristine waters of Tanzania's coastline, renowned for its rich mineral content and optimal growing conditions. We take pride in delivering a product that is 100% organic, sustainable, and packed with essential nutrients.

Our sea moss is meticulously selected to ensure it meets the highest quality standards. We pride ourselves on delivering a product that is fresh, pure, and free from any additives or contaminants.

How to use:

Step 1 - Wash

The Sea Moss needs to be washed several times, this is to ensure you remove any sea salt, debris etc. You only want to prepare 30g of dry Sea Moss at a time, the rest of the Sea Moss should be kept dry for storage. Only wash with purified/ spring water.

Please note; once the Sea Moss is wet it MUST be used, it can no longer be stored.

Step 2 - Soak

Once sea moss is thoroughly washed, fully soak Sea Moss in spring water with 1 cut lime (this will help get rid of the sea taste and smell)

Keep Sea Moss submerged for a minimum of 6 hours (soaking for 12 + hours will give you a smoother gel) The water should cover the Sea Moss, this will rehydrate the sea moss. The Sea Moss will increase in size and become softer, and lighter in colour, the water will become slimy, this is normal.

Step 3 - Blend

Drain off the Sea Moss water and place soaked Sea Moss and juice of 1 lime into a blender, add your spring water a bit at a time whilst blending, if you add the whole 500ml your Sea Moss will come out bitty. Blend until the sea moss has a smooth and thick consistency.

Step 4 - Store

Pour the Sea Moss into a seal-able, airtight glass jar and store in the fridge.

Consume within 3 weeks.

How to store:

Keep packet in a cool, dry place.

Do not get your Sea Moss wet until you are read to use it. If the Sea Moss becomes wet or damp, you will need to use it immediately.

Made up Sea Moss gel can last in an airtight container stored in the fridge for up to a month, but we suggest you consume it with 3 weeks.

Alternatively, you can pour it into ice-cube trays and freeze for later use. This is perfect for taking the cubes and incorporating them into your smoothies!

If you open your Sea Moss gel and it has a pungent fishy smell, smells sour, or has any signs of moulding or discoloration, this indicates that the Sea Moss has spoiled. Do not consume it and make sure to immediately throw it away
